From the Secretary General
Let us rejoice because Christ
is Risen!
message

We would like to convey our brothers and sisters here and abroad
a blessed Easter greetings!

Indeed, Christ has won for us the victory over sin and death, and assures us of a new
life in Him. Let us continue to nourish the new life, Christ has won for us through our
sincere efforts to grow and mature in Christ’s love This opportunity is given to us
especially this year when the Thai Catholic Church dedicated the Year of the Word.

May God’s Word be our inspiration and our light in our daily life. More so, the universal
Church will celebrate the Pauline year. St. Paul the apostle who, with the heart of
Christ encourages us to imitate Christ as he himself imitated Him. May these
significant events in the Church help us to keep alive the life of Christ in us.

We also take this opportunity to thank Msgr. Brian Udaigwe the First Counsellor of the
Apostolic Nuncio for his help to the Thai Church. We accompany him with our prayers
to London, his new assignment. Thank you Msgr. Brian Udaigwe.

Bishop John Bosco Panya Kritcharoen

Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Thailand
